I find that links to Uniqlo items go to a “page not found” notice. It’s not just today. Are the links working for everyone else?

Apologies about this Annette! They are supposed to redirect, so am trying to get to the bottom of it! x

Thanks Anna, great analysis! I also think their wide leg trousers are great. Modern, relaxed but tailored. I’ve bought grey, navy and olive, but the sizes are all over the place, so I would suggest trying on in store as the online returns policy sucks! You can buy online, but only exchange in store and once you’ve exchanged you can never get a refund even if unworn and all labels on. Wtf. X

Oh that's annoying! But good to know! x

Great round up - thanks Anna. Always good to see how the mens’ sizing fits when on too. Oh and just wondering what jeans are you wearing please in your photos. Many thanks 🤩

These posts are so helpful Anna, thank you. 🤩 don’t live near stores like Uniqlo, cos, Arket etc so it’s really helpful to get your fit tips.

Where next - you’ve mentioned that M&S keeping popping onto your radar so they would be on my list, plus &Other stories who also keep popping up on mine. Thanks!

You didn’t try the ribbed lounge pants?!

Expand full comment

I just bought these and love them! I’m 5’2 and they are the perfect ‘full length’ fit for me so likely cropped on others. Super soft. The only thing I’m not keen on is the overly visible pocket lines showing through so I may trim and sew these shut for a cleaner finish.

I am living in the ribbed lounge pants. Camel and a gray set with the cardigan

I'm so silly for not remembering to try them on! They look so soft online! x

I prefer a chunkier knit and LOVE the Uniqlo 100% lambs wool jumpers. The colour range isn’t as good in the women’s this year but I found some lovely earthy browns & greys in the men’s section! £34! So good for throwing over shoulders too.

Oh I love that!! Will have to check those out next time I'm in! x

Love this, Anna! I live in my Merino wool from Uniqlo, particularly the cardigans. They wash so so well. I wondered if you spotted some of the knitted trousers when you were in store? Had my eye on a pair of charcoal grey, ribbed pants from there. Might head into my local store this weekend to suss them out!

I completely forgot to check those out and people rave about them!! Will have to check them out next time xx

Thanks for this round-up, Anna! I have a (very old) little puffer jacket, and the coat version too, which I bought to go under my raincoat, but end up wearing all the time, even though it isn't beautiful. The coat version has its bag attached to it, so it is incredidibly easy to pack away. Can't recommend enough! I've been curious about the cord shirts, so good to know they aren't very heavy (I'd prefer one that would double up as a jacket).
