Hi Anna, I'm struggling with dressing for work in hot/humid weather! My dress code is smart casual but I try to keep jeans to a minimum during the summer because they can feel so oppressive in the heat. Any advice greatly appreciated! Thank you x

If you were to get one bag that could carry you through. Mom of a 10 month old. I have the APC demi lune but its a tad too small and hella annoying to get into. Is the puzzle worth the current price tag or is there a better option? Would love to stay under 1000£ and closer to 500£ if thats even possible?

Hi Barbora - such a good question! In my eyes the puzzle is just a superior bag in every way, but the price tag is 😵‍💫😵‍💫. To buy full price now would be a no, but secondhand yes! I’ll get back to you on this one as I feel I need to do a pull post of suggestions and properly research this one for you x

Hi Anna. When shopping online, how to do you know for sure if the item will fit you well? Do you have a strategy for identifying things that will work without fail? Or do you avoid things that you find risky buying without tryin on? Because I shop online most of the time, I feel like I avoid certain styles altogether, as they look a little tricky and I don't want to deal with the returns.

Hi Sheyda,

Thanks for your question! Short answer - I don't!! I am forever at the parcel office too! One thing I do do is double check measurements. NET-A-PORTER is really good for this and I always have a good idea of my measurements so I can be a little more certain if things are going to fit or not, and of course I always look at what size the model has got on and their measurements too. But getting the right size first time is tricky! x

A spring/ summer bag that isn’t a rope bag or too holiday? Ideally around the £200-£300. A great small bag that can also fit a book and look good for evening looks. Thanks!

Work-appropriate trouser. No pleats, please! I don't mind a higher waist, and wider legs, but prefer ankle length. I have Sezane (which are great) and a few high-street versions (COS, the workhorse JCrew Tollegno 1900) but would welcome ideas. I frequent tailors, so that works, too. Black, cream, white, navy.

Hi there! Thanks for your question! Sounds like you have the basics covered - I probably would have recommended J Crew and Sezane to you! Have you tried the Everlane Dream Kick Flare https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-dream-kick-flare-pant-navy or for something fancy the Veronica Beard Tani pant? X

Hi Anna - thanks so much as always for this ☺️ i’m looking for a pair of sunglasses which work with my three words - classic, feminine, relaxed. I’d like either black or torte - I’m after something which add a little something to an outfit but don’t lean in to gen z (only look good at the end of your nose 😅😂). Budget £150ish. Thanks so much 🤍

Hi Anna! Newbie here and delighted to have joined your Substack!

I am on the hunt for your Faithfull top in black or white (or whatever colour honestly) but for the life of me can’t find one. Perhaps you know a good website with one in stock.

I recently bought the Emma vest but was quite shocked at the extra duties.. love the vest though. Also, how are you enjoying the Aeyde Olga (?) sandals? Contemplating getting them but would hate if the straps are killing your feet.

Thanks so much in advance and yay!

Hi there Fleur! Thank you so much for joining - lovely to have you here! You know what I have been on the HUNT for a faithful dupe and have yet to find one - but will definitely add something into the newsletter when I do! I like the Olga sandals, but they are definitely more of an evening sandal for me. I don’t think I’d be clip clopping around town in them for hours! Hope this helps! X

Hi Anna! Could you do an up to date review of the St. Agni Bagu tote? It’s just come back in stock and I want to pull the trigger but I’ve read some people haven’t had it wear well over time… what is your experience?

Hi Anna! I need to help with summer jackets. I need something I can wear in the evening/ cooler days/ early when I go to the gym or to the office (I live in Germany) but that isn’t too thick. Im not too fussed about denim jackets. In my mind something like a linen jacket? I wouldn’t want to spend more than £200 if possible. Looking forward to the recommendations ❤️

Hi Anna! Hope you’re well and had a lovely time away on holidays. This month’s Q: I’m a full-time working from home gal. I’m a beauty editor, and still have zoom meetings with the office team, but I work remote so want to be comfortable but cute haha. Any ideas for chic, at-home working outfits? I’ve just started adding to my Indyx if that helps see my style (I will definitely be booking a lookbook session with you once I have completed adding everything). Thanks so much, Aja x

Hi Anna! Really struggling to find chic dinner date / going out tops that feel sophisticated but still a bit sexy, and in the ~$200 range. I feel like everything I like is either $500 or more (eek) or looks good online, then looks/feels super cheap when it arrives. I'm sick of t-shirts and bygone tops from my twenties!
