Everything I Wore This Week
Soft clothing day outfits & an at-home facial routine to make you GLOW...
MONDAY
This week was a pure, solid, working-from-home week, which, seeing as this month is my busiest month of the year, was very much needed. It’s given me the chance to plough through my to-do list, and I’m feeling pretty prepared for the month ahead. So it goes without saying that this week was pretty much exclusively a ‘Soft Clothing™️’ week, which is not only great for my comfort levels but as a chance to really nail down a working-from-home uniform. SPOILER: it’s:
A chunky knit or oversized jumper that’s a little boxy in nature (usually with some kind of vest or t-shirt layered underneath it).
A wide-leg pair of knitted trousers - sometimes cropped, sometimes long.
A house slipper that’s more like a slip-on shoe or loafer that’s just for around the home and never ventures outside.
Finished off with a chunky pair of gold earrings and usually my watch or a bangle, or something a little extra.
TUESDAY
Tuesday was just a remix of the day before - gold chunky earrings + black oversized jumper + grey wide-leg knitted trousers + animal print house slippers. It’s not exactly ground-breaking, but I do enjoy a black and grey combination, especially with gold and animal print. The jumper is old, but the trousers are relatively new and were exactly what I was looking for. They are pretty thick and a good length on my 5’7” frame, which is good, as shortening a hefty knitted fabric like this is tricky. Did I also succumb to the matching jumper? Yes, yes I did.
