MONDAY
We started the week off by shooting our September round of NET-A-PORTER content, which I proposed would be based on my favourite topic - denim (if you missed it, you can read my denim guide here). Inevitability whenever we shoot multiple outfits in a day, there’s always one outfit that I end up in for longer than others, not wanting to take it off, and for this shoot, it was this formula - chestnut brown jumper + slightly cropped black jeans + leopard print flats + cream leather woven bag. I already owned the shoes and bag, but the jumper and the jeans were loans from the brand and have shot to the top of my wishlist. The colour of the jumper isn’t one I currently own, and I felt GREAT in it, and the jeans would add a bit of variety to my very wide-leg-centric denim wardrobe.
TUESDAY
Perhaps my favourite outfit of the week. It was due to rain after we planned to be back home, so I risked it for a biscuit and wore my suede jacket, and I’m glad I did because I’d quite like this outfit to be my uniform for the next three months, please and thank you. We had some meetings in London, so we made a day out of it and treated ourselves to lunch at Manteca, which was UNREAL (make sure you order the house-made ricotta with a side or two of the focaccia). The outfit itself felt pretty classic, but the big buckle belt gave it some polish, and I left my hair loose and a little wavy and wore flip-flops to lean into a more undone vibe.
