Weekly Wishlist #9
The Toteme dress dupe, St Agni bag edit and the knitwear brand I'm all over right now...
This week it’s all about prep-mode. I feel like everyone that I talk to has got a Black Friday notes app wishlist on the go and here is mine so far:
Denim shirt (yes I am still on the lookout!)
Carhartt overalls (but blue denim, black or cream - that is the question!?)
Basically anything from Lie Studio
St Agni bags (see below)
Not sure where to start!? I’ll be here first thing next Friday to share what’s actually worth adding to your basket, but in the meantime here’s what’s peaked my interest this week and is well worth adding to the list if you ask me…
As always free subscribers will be able to preview the first five items from the list and paid subscribers will be able to see the full 10 piece edit every week and have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you will ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up to the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’re going to have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment of that will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
ARKET Cable Knit Cardigan* (I’d order this in a M)
The high-street is finally giving their full cardigan game and I am HERE for it. They started by bringing the basics and now they are branching out a bit with different textures, colours and weights. I really like the look of this one because it’s like the delicate cousin of a chunky cable knit and the colour is kinda beige, kinda green, kinda gold - just one of those hues that looks SO GOOD with a classic blue-wash denim. ARKET knitwear really goes the distance for me, and given that they don’t usually do a Black Friday sale I’m tempted to pick this one up before it sells out.
Back when I first purchased my Apiece Apart Cords* I searched for a dupe and came back with two that didn’t really fit the brief. The shape wasn’t right and the tone too caramel rather than that deep rusty red. Then this week I did another search and there were TONNES. So I thought I’d link it here if you are in the market for what has fast become one of the most worn pairs of trousers in my wardrobe (and the comfiest too!). If you need some ideas of how to style them then check out this video.
Galvan Crepe Jumpsuit* & Christopher Esber Cut Out Maxi-Dress*
With party season upon us here are the two pieces that I’d be checking out Hurr and By Rotation for. I answered a question on my Style Dilemma’s post about what to wear for a festive, but pretty dressy wedding and these would be my top two picks. Galvan do the LOVELIEST jumpsuits, but they do cost a small fortune so I’d either grab one from Vestiaire*, or find one to rent. And the same with the Christopher Esber dresses, which are a lovely choice if you prefer a dress (I ordered one in the sale but it was too big and when I went to reorder it was sold out - BOO!). Just two very chic party options if you ask me.
Sézane Brooklyn Jumpsuit in Denim* (I wear this in a 12)
I can personally vouch for this one. I put my November campaign for Sézane live this week and it featured this jumpsuit which is a very, very good denim number. I’ve been looking for one for a while but I always came back to this. It’s as fitted as you want it to be and I like the fact that it has tortoiseshell buttons and not metal snappers. I usually size up at Sézane, but I stuck with my usual size 12 in this and I’m really pleased that I did because it sits fitted in the rear, and has a nice wide leg to it, so I’d go TTS with this one. It’s really gorgeous. It comes with a wrap belt too, although I personally prefer it without like in the photo here.
ARKET Yoga Bra* (I wear this in an M)
I thought they’d got rid of my favourite sports bra as it went discounted and then archived on their website, but PHEW because it’s back and in a new colour way. If you have anything more than a B-cup this bra might be kinda useless for you as it definitely doesn’t do much in the sturdiness category, but for those with less than a handful like myself then there isn’t a sports bra out there that is comfier. For the low-impact workouts that I like to do, nothing beats it.
