Weekly Wishlist #3
The cashmere cardigan you'll never declutter, the designer bag I'm window-shopping for and a designer dupe from ZARA that I'm lusting after...
Previous week’s wishlists have included a lot of items that I’ve purchased myself. I’ve been fully swept up in the ‘back to school-ness’ of things and have been on a kick to fill the gaps in my wardrobe (scroll to the end for a round-up of what’s made it onto the hanger and what I ended up returning). But consider those well and truly filled and this week’s edit to be the results of my window-shopping online and IRL recommendations I’ve gathered this week…
As always free subscribers will be able to preview the first five items from the list and paid subscribers will be able to see the full 10 piece edit every week and have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you will ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up to the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’re going to have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment of that will be in your inbox on Monday. See you then!
Reformation Cashmere Boyfriend Jumper*, Vintage Oversized Crew Neck Jumper* and Cashmere Collared Cardigan* (I’d order all of these in an M)
A 3-in-1 but this is what I filled my Reformation cart up with earlier in the week. Ultimately it just felt a bit too spenny and not necessarily like a need, but I’m on the hunt for a chocolate brown cashmere jumper and this one looked like it could tick all the boxes. This grey crew neck KEPT coming up on my IG Stories feed and consider me influenced! And then this cardigan is one that I ordered last year in the oat and ultimately returned, but I’m tempted by the black.
Jigsaw Hopsack Blake Trouser* (I ordered a 12, but need to size down to a 10)
Following on from my anti-haul Substack earlier this week, I’m on the hunt for a flat-front black trouser (similar to the Toteme arles fluid ones that I ended up selling because they didn’t fit anymore, but I’m not sure they still make in the black?). I ordered these in my usual size but actually they came up too big - I feel like I’m an 11 in Jigsaw clothing!!! - and actually I think I’ll return them as I’m looking for something with a belt loop which these don’t have. But if you’re looking for a more casual, wide leg trouser that’s well made and double-lined then these are for you.
Toteme T-Lock Leather Shoulder Bag*
One of the PR girls from the Paris trip that I went on this week (hi Christina!!), had this bag and WOAH. I’d seen it online and thought sure, it looked nice. But in person it was 189% better. Like a bit more slouchy and bigger than I’d pictured it to be and depending on how much you fill it, something that you could tuck under your armpit without using the additional shoulder strap that it comes with. I’d personally go for the black leather with the gold detailing, it just feels timeless to me. I tried to link up some preloved ones, but it looks like it goes QUICK, so sign up for alerts and pounce when one comes available.
AGOLDE 90’s Pinch Waist Jeans in Whisper* (I wear this style in a 28)
I know I’ve scratched my itch for indigo jeans with the ARKET dahlia jeans*, but this is just a PSA that my favourite denim style comes in a very similar wash and looks to be a little longer and a little higher waist than the ARKET ones. I’m really enjoying having a darker wash in my denim wardrobe, it gives a bit more polish to outfits that I’d usually wear with a lighter wash.
Toteme The Regulars Square-Frame Sunglasses*
I own two pairs of sunglasses, an old Dick Moby style that they no longer make and my Ray-Ban 2140’s*, but I was very influenced by Hannah (you might know her as CocoBeauTea!), who was on the Paris trip with me and was not only ridiculously lovely to chat to, but so darn stylish as you know. She was wearing these to the Stella McCartney show and they looked so chic. I might try and find these preloved and expand my sunglasses collection a little.
