Mum-duty to end-of-summer-holiday dressing - this week had it ALL...
MONDAY
If you can cast your minds back to the Monday before last you might remember it was warm. Under-boob-sweat-inducing warm if I remember correctly. Mondays are spent taking the little one to swimming lessons so whatever I wear has to be warm enough for the general weather outside, but cool enough so I don’t completely melt as that pool is heated to be hotter than the surface of the sun. So I settled for the above. I ALWAYS regret wearing jeans, but then I’m ALWAYS wearing jeans. I never learn. Nothing ground-breaking, but worn with the correct jewellery I can make it feel more ‘me’.
P.S) In all future Weekly Wardrobe Diaries I endeavour to take actual photos of what I’m wearing as it’s always more helpful to see the outfit in action I think. However the idea for this Substack came to me whilst I’ve been away this week (yes I’m one of those freaks who CANNOT rest - I’m supposed to be on holiday but instead I’m digging into a new project because I’m just bloomin’ buzzing about this). So photos for this week are a little lacking, but come the next newsletter I’ll be ON IT. I just wanted to give you a taste for what these will be like.
