The Weekly Wishlist: What's Going To Be My February Purchase?
I think I've narrowed it down...
I feel like this week’s wishlist is a good one. These posts take me an age to put together as I dip in and out throughout the week, but reading it back through now, I feel like this one is a cracker. Even though I’m trying to be chill with my own personal wishlist, I could happily add everything from this newsletter into my basket!
What’s included in this week’s newsletter…
The high-street bags that give off Loewe-vibes, a Toteme-like coat and my favourite jumper of all time is back in stock.
Three Substacks I’ve saved this week - including one that will make your next trip to the Tailor’s a BREEZE.
The things I screengrabbed this week and the outfits that were inspired by them.
What’s new on my wishlist (and the piece from January’s brand collabs that has made it into my daily rotation).
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you will ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up to the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’re going to have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment of that will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
Emme Parsons Bari Sandals* (I wear an IT40 - if you’re between sizes size up)
Ok this is an extremely unseasonal recommendation, BUT do you remember when I lived in the beige version of these sandals for the entirety of last summer!?! They sold out and have never really been in stock since. However I’ve just found them, available to buy in almost every single size, in a whole host of colours, including the black and the brown which quite honestly I am torn between. They are PRICEY for a pair of summer sandals, but they are on the thick and sturdy side and for something that has a glorified suede toe ring, they were one of my most comfortable summer shoes. So I just had to alert you to their reappearance!
Whistles Fern Waxed Jacket* (I’d order this in a M)
I feel like it’s quite hard to find practical coats that aren’t extremely boring, or just the kind of thing that you’re not excited to wear. But this I like! It’s very similar to the Toteme Country Jacket*, with big utility pockets, a boxy fit and a contrasting collar, but is like a quarter of the price. It feels like a good spring-transition jacket that you’d be able to wear now with an extra layer or two underneath or just a nice one to throw on for chill weekends too as the weather warms up a bit.
Jigsaw Beck Patent Panelled Jeans* & Irregular Plisse Crew Top*
I’m back on the ‘JIGSAW HAVE GOOD THINGS IN’ bandwagon again. These jeans caught my eye because they are exactly the type of addition to your wardrobe that if like me, things are a bit plain - this can add some edge. Nothing too wild, but just a subtle-ish design detail that would take a plain black t-shirt and black boots to the next level. The top isn’t so fun, but I wanted to share as it really reminds me of a style that DISSH* have in, but it looks to still be on the sheer side but not basically see-through (which the DISSH one is and actually I ended up selling it for that reason - I should have known from the photos!).
