I went on a a bit of dupe-spree this week it appears! Completely unintentional, but I just kept uncovering these gems that I just HAD to include.
What’s included in this week’s newsletter…
Everything I screengrabbed style-wise this week
Two great high-street AGOLDE dupes, the new jewellery brand on the block and the summer vest I’m adding to my shopping list now
Is having a sliding scale of outfits the secret to avoiding wardrobe overwhelm? I LOVE this idea
A fair amount has been added to the wishlist, so here are my buying plans for Feb
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you will ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up to the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’re going to have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment of that will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
Whistles Flare Sleeve Denim Jacket* & ARKET Oversized Denim Shirt*
Two high-street denim jackets that give me KHAITE-vibes - do you see it?! As we’re slowly creeping out of winter (only one more month to go!), a jacket like this will get a lot more use in your wardrobe, especially with some clever layering underneath. I have to say that I’m quite tempted by the ARKET one - the secondhand COS shirt I own is a bit more fitted and I miss having an oversized denim number in my wardrobe, they are just so good just to sling over the top of outfits, even during the warmer months. I tend to wear mine with a similar wash of jeans and just embrace the double denim look.
Flattered Vida Suede Loafers* (I’m between sizes and I’ve previously ordered up a size from Flattered before)
Look we all love Toteme, right?! But some of their prices feel pretty extreme right now (I spotted a cashmere jumper for almost £1k and that just ain’t gonna happen sadly). I spotted these suede loafers* from them this week and at almost £500 for a suede shoe, as someone who is tad heavy on their feet, it doesn’t feel like the best investment to me. My Flattered slip-ons that I own have worn in pretty well and actually I forget about them when I’m digging around online, but they are like the high-street version of Aeyde - modern classics, and LOTS of dupes for higher end things, like these are a pretty spot-on style for the Toteme ones I saw. I find leather loafers a bit heavy for my look, so appreciate a flat shoe in a softer texture like suede.
Uniqlo HEATTECH Ultra Light Turtleneck*
If you watched my most recent YouTube video then you would have seen that I dug out my 10 year old HEATTECH top from the depths of my drawers. I’d completely forgotten that I had it, but keep two HEATTECH pieces that I bought years ago for Mark and I’s first trip to New York stored away for super cold winter days. One of them just happens to be a turtleneck and look, you know I’m not a fan, but I can’t deny that layering them under things for winter gives you double the looks and a whole lot more variety (plus keeps you warm!). And it’s currently on sale for a tenner! I’d opt for something like this, that’s actually going to keep you toasty, over fancier styles - and mine has held up really well!
