The Weekly Wishlist: There's Been a Major Update
& ARKET currently have 20% off - here are my top picks...
This week’s newsletter includes:
A Toteme-esque sandal dupe from the high street, a boat-neck tank to rule them all and a cream outfit dream with a GREAT pair of denim.
The two must-read Substacks that I’ve saved this week.
Outfits that I’ve screengrabbed this week and the formulas you can easily recreate with what you already have hanging in your wardrobe.
My summer packing travel guide - ready for download NOW!
Some cool chics to follow on Instagram and TikTok that are giving me ALL the good outfit ideas.
Plus there have been some major changes in my wishlist - where do we go from here?
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six-piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you with ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. Plus a monthly style clinic where you can send me your wardrobe woes for me to solve. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up for the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’re going to have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
DISSH Bitter Choc Linen Maxi Dress* (I’d order this in a 12)
I don’t think the photos on the DISSH website do this dress justice, but it’s popped up a few times on my Instagram feed this week and it looks B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. The kind of dress that stops you in your tracks and you have to find out where it’s from immediately. Which I soon discovered was DISSH, which tracks because it’s *the place* for summer linens and especially dresses. In light of my colour analysis, I’m also just really here for brown linen this summer. A lighter, softer alternative to black but all the same rules apply in that it makes the perfect backdrop for whatever you want to throw on top.
ARKET Pointelle Rib Jumper* & ARKET Suede Bag*
Word on the street is that ARKET has 20% off all purchases over £40 (or €50) from now until Sunday. That’s off EVERYTHING, including their new-in section which never happens. Basically, it’s the best discount you’re going to get. I’ve put together a full edit here, but my top two picks would be these. I know we’re seeing pointelle detail every where this season, but how about it in jumper form? Perhaps a bit more practical given the fact that spring has yet to make a full-time appearance in the U.K? And this bag is CUTE! It’s really a suede high-street version of a Puzzle bag, which is something that I’ve yet to spot. I’m into it!
& Other Stories Oversized Pinstripe Blazer* (I’d order this in a 40)
You know me and blazers. We’re not exactly best friends. But whenever I’m putting moodboards together, especially ones for spring, a brown vintage-looking blazer comes up a lot, and I feel like it could even be a better buy than a brown or a cream one. To me those can feel quite formal and ‘grown-up’ almost. I do wear them, but I wear them more for events and meetings, never in my day-to-day. So I’m imagining a brown oversized blazer, with a white t-shirt underneath, light wash AGOLDE’s, flip-flops and your favourite bag over your shoulder. THAT’S what I want to be wearing this spring.
