The Weekly Wishlist: Secondhand Bags & An Autumn Moodboard
...plus a deep dive into my style-related screenshots from this week
This newsletter includes:
A brand to try that feels very Toteme-adjacent, the only swimsuit I’m tempted to buy and the jumper of my St Agni t-shirt that I wear weekly.
The Substacks that I’ve saved this week for all the Olsen twin goss and blazer outfit inspo.
A secondhand bag edit that I’d be ON if I wasn’t on a bag-buying ban, plus an autumn moodboard that’s one to save for next month.
A paid sub-exclusive video, styling one of my recent purchases where I go long.
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list, and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six-piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary, which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you with ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. Plus a monthly style clinic where you can send me your wardrobe woes for me to solve. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up for the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’ll have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
DONNI Silky Cami Dress* (I’d order this in a M)
This week’s wishlist features a true deep-dive into my screenshots from the past seven days, and I found this dress thanks to a post I grabbed from Diana. She was wearing the yellow version, and I thought to myself, ‘Oh, that’s a lovely cut of dress!’. Turns out it’s from DONNI and also comes in black, which would be my preferred choice. I love how it’s styled here, super chilled and relaxed and it just feels like one of those thrown-on pieces that are great when you don’t want anything to be touching your body. The thicker straps make it bra friendly too.
Massimo Dutti Strappy Heeled Animal Print Sandals*
I know!! This is a very KHAITE-vibes shoe with a teeny tiny heel that you could easily throw on for the day and a chic evening look, too. Big love to Sam for reposting these on her IG stories. I love it when a leopard print shoe is kinda fluffy, like this. It adds some texture and helps to make the whole thing feel high-end. If you’re more of a snake print person then Massimo have you covered for that too*. I’d wear these with a straight-leg pair of vintage-feeling jeans and a white t-shirt for that real ‘oh, I just threw this on!’ look.
Aligne Reversible Wax Coat* & Barnaby Reversible Wax Coat*
Autumn stock is trickling in, and like I mentioned last week, although it feels unseasonal to be buying a heavy waxed jacket now, the good stuff gets snapped up fast (that COS suede jacket* I mentioned last week is already pretty much sold out - SOB!), so it’s something to think about with your shopping list. These two coats came up on my IG ads, and I clicked the link because both feel like they could have a place in my wardrobe. The shorter jacket is a good option if you occasionally need a more practical coat but still want to feel pulled together. I’m thinking of a chilly trip to the park - this would be great with jeans and Converse and a chunky earring. Then, the longer coat is reversible, with a check on one side and a trench beige on the other. How genius is that? Love that you’re getting two coats in one.
…and the Sézane Wide Leg Trousers* are BACK IN STOCK and still available in all sizes. I wear a UK12 for a more relaxed fit, but if you wanted them closer around the waist and thighs, then I’d suggest going one size down. I got my pair back in January, and they’ve been out of stock since, but I’ve worn them a tonne over the spring/summer and love how they work with pretty much every top in my wardrobe.
