Sometimes inspiration is thin on the ground, but occasionally the cup is BRIMMING and the vibe of this week is definitely the latter. I think this might be my longest Weekly Wishlist to date!
What’s included in this week’s newsletter…
A ‘different’ type of waistcoat, two pairs of flats that I love and two ideas for adding some ‘-ish’ colour to your wardrobes
The five Substacks I’ve saved this week (including the GENIUS ‘Seven Outfit’ Method).
The items that are most practical to me VS. the items that are lauded as ‘practical’
My February moodboard
The three things I’ve added to my shopping wishlist (and what’s already been removed!)
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you will ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up to the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’re going to have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment of that will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
Hush Leather Crossbody Bag* (I’d order the Tan personally)
It’s rare that I see a leather bag on the high-street that gives me Loewe puzzle bag vibes but here it is!! Available in three colours, with a detachable strap and the ability to wear it over the shoulder, cross-body or hold it like a little clutch - you know I find this style of bag the handiest out of everything that I own.
Lie Studios Camille Earrings*, Hammered Hoop Earrings* & Lie Studios The Julie Earrings*
This is your PSA that the Lie Studios earrings that I wear ALL THE TIME are back in stock!! It’s hard to pick a favourite between the Camille and the Julie styles - I guess it’s just down to preference and what you already own!? I personally wear the Camille when I want to make more of a statement and the Julie when I want to feel more elegant. I also saw this pair from COS when I was browsing that had a very Lie Studios feel about them.
& Other Stories Long Blazer* & Toteme Double Breasted Blazer*
I think I’ve actually linked to this & Other Stories coat before, but I genuinelly fell asleep thinking about it the other night. I adore an oversized wool coat, but I think this blazer-like version would add something different to a wardrobe that’s already full of those and be a good going-out, ‘need to feel a bit fancier’ jacket. In the same realm, I have a Toteme black blazer and find it to be a great piece to style. I really like it worn done up, just with a black trouser for events and this version feels like it would be great at that too.
