This newsletter includes:
A crease-free white shirt, two great dupes for my green beaded necklace and a pair of white shorts that look relaxed and tailored at the same time.
The three Substacks I’ve saved this week, and the website I discovered, thanks to one of them, that is minimalist-style HEAVEN.
My style screengrabs from the week and the TikTok outfit formula that’s great for when you’re running out of the house.
Notes on my trip to the Toteme store (and some controversial thoughts on THAT leopard print coat).
‘What’s On My Wishlist’ - where do we go from here?
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list, and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six-piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary, which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you with ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. Plus a monthly style clinic where you can send me your wardrobe woes for me to solve. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up for the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’ll have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
Aligne Quinn Waistcoat* & Daphne Waisted Knit in Navy* & Meg Rigid Top in Indigo* (I’d go one size down in all of these and order a 10)
I’ve had a preview from Aligne of what’s coming for the rest of the year, so I’ve eagerly awaited this drop. Already, we’re seeing a bit of autumn peaking through in the new-in sections online, and Aligne’s offering feels RIGHT. Of course, there’s a great waistcoat (it’s what they do best!), but this cardigan feels like a fresh take on the classic KHAITE style but with a slightly more fitted silhouette. I also love that they bought out the Meg in an indigo wash - I feel like it’s a piece I’d wear most with white linen trousers in the summer and white wide-leg jeans when it cools down a little.
Dragon Diffusion Nantucket Large Woven Leather Tote*
Have I mentioned this bag before? Yep, probably. I just can’t get it out of my head!!! I saw it in person at my local Tidy Street General Store, and I can confirm that the colour is as delicious in real life as it looks online. I know we’re all having a Brat-green summer, but as a true autumn, that just ain’t gonna work for me. I need deep, rich, muted tones, and this bag is exactly that. Imagine it with an all-white outfit underneath. GROAN. It flits between sold out and in stock, so keep it on your wishlist. Just going to point you in the right direction again, that the Madewell Handwoven Leather Tote* is a FAB dupe if you’re looking for one - style-wise, sadly not colour-wise. And just a note that if you buy it directly from the Dragon Diffusion site, you can pay £15 to get it canvas lined. I did not know this!!
Whistles Hai Black Florence Dress* (I’d order this in a M)
I’ve been digging on the Whistles site this week and realised that they stock this very cool brand called Hai - think capsule-esque silk pieces. I linked the green version of this dress in my Floral-Free Wedding Guest Edit, but I didn’t realise there was a black!!! It’s tricky to find slip dresses with more of a square-cut neckline - and trust me, I know because it’s a search that sends me down a Google rabbit hole every three months - but it was here all along. This gives very CBK vibes.
