The Weekly Wishlist: I Could Buy It All
But I won't - I'll just add it all to my wishlist instead
I’m always hasten to say that this is THE BEST WISHLIST YET - but I feel like it could be? I am not joking when I say that I could happily add every single item to my wardrobe!!!
What’s included in this week’s newsletter…
A wedding guest dress that I’m VERY tempted by, the summer version of one of my favourite bags and the perfect hot-weather matching set.
The one Substack that will inspire you to take a different stance on spring cleaning your wardrobe this year.
An outfit formula to try this week that you probably have hanging in your wardrobe already.
The easy way to sort out your ‘to fix’ pile in one fell swoop - tried and tested.
If you’re digitalised your wardrobe and are thinking - WHAT NOW!? Here’s a little task for you to try.
How my wishlist has shifted this week and the gifted items that have made it into my rotation.
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six-piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you will ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. Plus a monthly style clinic where you can send me over your wardrobe woes for me to solve. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up to the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’re going to have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment of that will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
Deiji Studios Wool-Blend Cardigan* & Wool-Blend Straight Leg Pants*
Now I will admit that this newsletter is a little NET-A-PORTER heavy because I browsed in their new-in section and opened about 1289 tabs. It’s goooood right now. And yes there are two Deiji Studios inclusions too, but they just do comfy so well. And you know that I love a new working-from-home combination!! I have a similar pair of knitted trousers and get so much wear out of them, but these are a much better composition and should last you far longer.
DÔEN Paige Cotton Poplin Shorts*
Shorts are a bit of a tricky one. I tend to stick to denim shorts with the odd linen pair thrown in, but sometimes you want something tailored, but not in a fabric that feels like your old school trousers. And I think these could be it! A lightweight cotton so they have that linen-esque feel, but they come with a belt loop. Big points for that!! Pleated, but in a relaxed way. That oversized feel, but you don’t look like you’re wearing a nappy. If you’re looking to expand your shorts department then these could be a good wishlist addition.
ARKET bought out a similar pair to these last year and I have forever been sad that I didn’t manage to snag a pair before they sold out. They have been on my mind for months! I thought they were gone! Then these appear online!? The way I gasped. They do look slightly different to the original pair and dare I say better? The toe looks more elongated and boxier. I’ve got A LOT of ARKET loafers and ballerinas and the one thing they all have in common is that they are extremely comfortable. So yes, these have been bumped up to the top spot on my wishlist.
