The Weekly Wishlist: Greetings from New York
A speedy style digest from the other side of the pond...
This newsletter includes:
The high-street bag that gives KHAITE vibes, two leopard print skirts that I love and THE place to get a cracking cashmere jumper for under £100.
The one Substack to read this week and two outfit formulas to note, that you could very easily make your own.
A video try-on of all the pieces I picked up from DONNI!
And as always, a look at how my wishlist has shifted this week (and a rundown of what I’ve bought).
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list, and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six-piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary, which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you with ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. Plus a monthly style clinic where you can send me your wardrobe woes for me to solve. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up for the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’ll have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
COS Barrel-Leg Joggers* (I’d order a M)
I feel like I’m entering my comfy hibernation era in the wind-down to winter, and so I’m looking for things to wear that feel like a hug, but look semi-chic at the same time. These feel like they fit that bill and I love how they are styled here.
Le Monde Beryl Square-Toe Single-Vamp Leather Loafer*
This bad boys aren’t cheap, but MY WORD, they are up there with some of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I’ve had the pleasure of owning. I was gifted the black ones for a Selfridges job and can confirm that the breaking-in period in them is ZERO DAYS. I walked 18,000 steps in them yesterday with no problems at all.
I’m always on the lookout for trenches that are a similar style to the one that I have from Toteme and I have to say that this one gives the same vibe, with the tortoiseshell buttons and ties around the sleeves. Even the colour looks spot-on. I got mine three years ago now and it just feels like a classic to me.
