The Weekly Wishlist: Everything I've Bought For Autumn | Part Two
Another subscriber-exclusive video just for you!
This newsletter includes:
The snake print loafers that are 60% off, a between-seasons top that’s also in the sale and a solid pair of work trousers that’s a good twist on a basic.
Everything I’ve saved this week, including an easy-to-follow suede care guide, which is very much needed right now.
Two unlikely places to find outfit ideas (plus the update on my autumn-style moodboards).
The wishlist is back, plus a video of part two of my autumn haul where I go long again - including the piece that I’m sadly returning.
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list, and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six-piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary, which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you with ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. Plus a monthly style clinic where you can send me your wardrobe woes for me to solve. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up for the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’ll have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
M&S Pure Cashmere Jumper* (I’d order a 12)
The subscriber chat this week has been buzzing with recommendations for jumpers similar to my Toteme one*, and this one from M&S came up the most. I took a trip to my local store to do a little comparison for you, and I have to say that it’s *pretty* close and extremely soft (see the picture below). This ZARA one looks like it could be comparable - anyone tried it? - and Taylor found a great dupe in a preloved Madewell one in the shade ‘Pisashio Green’. Feel free to chip in if you’ve seen any good ones, and we’ll add it to the dupe list.
I’m having a bit of a moment with sculptural jewellery, and whilst I love resin and beaded styles, they do feel a little more traditionally ‘summer’ for me and in the cooler months, I tend to gravitate towards my gold chunkier styles, like my Lié Studios Necklace*. So, I thought this was a good mid-price option that would work year-round. It’s also not massive, so it's a way to dip your toe into more statement pieces if you’re used to daintier jewellery.
ALIGNE Stella Wool Coat* & Daphne V-Neck Waisted Blazer* (I’d order a 10 in the coat and a 12 in the blazer)
I’ve been waiting for these two pieces from ALIGNE to come in! I visited their showroom back in the spring, and it was this coat and jacket that stood out to me. Firstly, the coat. It reminds me of a coat that COS did a few years back and I went on the hunt for earlier in the year after seeing it on someone in the street and asking them where it was from. It turns out this happens A LOT. It’s a show-stopper and a colour that we just don’t see all that often. It’s heavy and good quality, and I fell in LOVE. Then, this jacket is one of those jackets that operates more as a top. I like that they’ve updated the buttons to black, and there was something that felt very vintage and Armani-ish to me. Just imagine it with black trousers and a Mary-Jane for a more evening look.
