The Weekly Wishlist: *Adds All To Cart*
Light linens, my Vinted top picks for you and dupes for all my sold-out favourites
This week’s newsletter includes:
A great dupe for my Toteme linen trousers, a cutie patootie summer bag and a pair of denim shorts for denim short haters.
The Substacks and screengrabs I’ve saved this week (and some great in-between weather outfit formulas to try).
What I’ve saved on Vinted this week (please buy them so I don’t!) and the fashion podcasts I’ve downloaded.
The leopard print item I can see being my June buy. They are perhaps the most beautiful flats I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Free subscribers will be able to preview the first three items from the list, and paid subscribers will be able to see the full six-piece edit every week, along with the rest of my style digest (think screengrabs, recreations, my favourite reads and a peek at my Notion wish list). Paid subscribers will also have exclusive access to my Weekly Wardrobe Diary, which will detail every single thing I’ve worn in the week prior and hopefully arm you with ALL THE OUTFIT INSPO. Plus a monthly style clinic where you can send me your wardrobe woes for me to solve. A subscription works out at £1.15 per week if you sign up for the monthly plan - see it as a wardrobe investment because you’re going to have outfit formulas by the bucketload. The next instalment will be in your inbox on Sunday evening/early Monday morning. See you then!
Aligne Leah Linen Mini Dress in Black* (I’d order this in a 12)
My favourite waistcoat now comes in a mini dress dress version and isn’t she a beaut? I love the pockets, and just like the waistcoat, there’s an adjustable strap at the back in case you wish to cinch in the waist. It’s just so unfussy. It's one of those dresses that you can just throw on with some flip-flops and a massive tote and be done with. Simple and chic. It gives very Aussie-brand vibes but for a fraction of the price. Oh, and it comes in red, too, if that’s more your thing.
Andersons Leather Belt* (I wear mine in an 85)
My favourite belt brand (my three belts strong collection is exclusively Andersons!) has released some new styles onto NET-A-PORTER, and this was my favourite from the drop (plus, isn’t it a great dupe for this KHAITE one* that’s three times the price?). It’s a little chunkier than the ones I have but it has more of a vintage feel - to be fair secondhand is a GREAT place to find belts; just be sure to double-check the length measurement! - with a bolder gold buckle. It’s simple, but if you’re market for a black basic belt then I’d add this one into the mix for your consideration.
Hush Stripe Cami Top* & Maxi Skirt*
The high street has upped its game when it comes to linen sets this summer. Of course, there are all the usual shirt and wide-leg trousers sets, which I love, but there are some more interesting takes out there now, like this cami and maxi skirt set, which feels a little Toteme to me, right? This is 100% linen, so it will keep you cool on warmer days. I think this would look great as the full set with strap-heavy sandals or broken up - perhaps the top with a pair of wide-leg cuffed jeans and sandals or the skirt with a white button-up tucked in and tied at the front?
