My Style Practice for 2024
How I planning on adding A LOT less to my wardrobe in the coming year...
I love the Christmas break for many reasons and not just because I’ve eaten my way through the entirety of a shortbread biscuit selection box which is the elite tier of selection box if you ask me. A chocolate chip shortbread finger?! Heaven in a biscuit right there. But as someone who runs in the hamster wheel of content for 50-ish weeks of the year, the break does me good. It gives me time for a moment of refection, a pause and a chance to actually think about what I’m putting out into the world. It’s also given me a chance to reconnect style-wise. I finally updated my Whering app (see my 2023 style analytics in this post) and that gave me a chance to audit my wardrobe. There are so many pieces that I love, but there are so many pieces that are a new - the majority in all honesty - and that, well, that needs to be addressed. So here’s my plan for 2024. They aren’t set-in-stone rules per se, but more just an attitude, a practice if you will for the year ahead…
