MONDAY
I’m writing this post fresh as you read it tonight (hopefully!) and excuse me, but why does Monday feel like it was a month ago!? When were these pictures taken!!! I genuinely had to look back through my diary to see what I was doing on Monday and it appears it was just a day of working from home. But I do remember wanting to pair a pretty plain base with my usual statement jewellery pieces but pushed the boat out a little by wearing both at the same time. Here’s an idea - bold earrings + bold necklace + plain black crew neck jumper + interesting shape of denim - such a simple, but chic look to start the week in that requires very little brain power. Maybe one to try tomorrow morning?
TUESDAY
I remember feeling a bit stuck with my outfit on Tuesday, so I leant on one of my classic formulas - a three-colour outfit. This time round I went for black and white, with a bit of brown to soften the contrast between the two. Here’s how I’d suggest putting it together - same colour t-shirt and trouser/skirt option + same colour overshirt and shoe option + a jumper in a colour that’s perhaps a little softer than the other two. Although I went for brown I feel like navy, grey or even a camel would have worked for the jumper. Olive green will look lush if you’re more into colour than me (maybe that will all change after my colour analysis appointment this week!? WHO KNOWS!?).
It’s also the outfit I wore to shoot this weekend’s video that’s a VERY comprehensive guide on all things digital wardrobes; from the how’s to the why’s, to the what nows.
