Everything I Wore This Week
End of summer sleeveless knits, autumnal chunky jumpers and THE leopard print bag...
MONDAY
I can’t lie; I had to consult my calendar to remember what I was up to on Monday. This week has been split in two by the end of summer and the unofficial start of autumn, with a chill in the air and bucketing down with rain for days on end. So, the balmy temperatures of Monday feel like a distant dream. Uncovered arms, would you look at that? I ran a few errands in my workout gear after a Reformer class first thing but changed into this when I got back for some Zoom meetings, and it felt sleek enough while still being comfortable. This week has pulled more on the casual side of things for me, so I’ve been getting mileage from statement belts, my usual chunky earrings and popping on a sculptural bangle to finish off my outfits.
TUESDAY
Whenever I mention my workout outfit, it’s this. I own the leggings in brown, navy and black, and the T-shirt in black and cream, and mix and match between them and throw whatever jumper I’m wearing at the time around my waist. It’s a solid enough outfit that I feel polished enough to run any errands I need to do before or after, or if I want to go to a café to nail down some laptop admin. It’s a style category where I love having a uniform because it takes the guesswork out of it. In the afternoon, I changed into the below, which, if we are lucky enough to be graced with a 20℃ day anytime soon, is a formula I’d recommend: knitted vest, statement belt, straight-leg mid-wash jeans, barely there sandals + a small summer bag.
