For the past year and a half, I’ve assembled a weekly outfit diary for Substack. It keeps me in a state of ABMO (a Rachel saying - ‘Always Be Making Outfits’). It’s something I enjoy and has helped me find a style that feels like me after losing it (and myself!) to motherhood. Would I have got there in the end without my daily selfie project? Sure. But I do believe that snapping a picture - be it in an outfit I love or hate - has fast-tracked the process and has helped give me focus and a better gut read on what I like style-wise? Yeah, I do.
