MONDAY
Even though I’ve spent the week working from home, thinking back to Monday feels like a lifetime ago! From my recollection, it was a bit rainy and cold, but I managed to dodge the showers and do my errands between bursts, which meant I got to wear my favourite suede jacket. This outfit was inspired by one that Anna Cascarina styled for me in an Indyx Lookbook. I style clients on there myself, but I’ve been so excited to book some of my favourite stylists to work their magic on my wardrobe. And so far, I’ve loved having other people cast their eyes and come up with new ways to wear my old pieces. I’ve got a Heather-styled lookbook coming my way soon, too. I can’t wait! Seeing as the weather was a bit rough, I swapped the shoes for something more covering, changed the tank for a t-shirt and wore a different suede jacket as the one Anna picked pulls more green in real life. Thanks Anna!
TUESDAY
The week back to work after a break is tricky, even when you adore what you do. I couldn’t find my flow and felt uninspired by all the content I’d planned to create and put on my to-do list before I went on holiday. Back in the day, being scheduled as far ahead as possible was my aim; I guess it gave me some sense of security in a job that isn’t *that* high on the secure scale. But these days, I prefer to post more in real time, especially on Substack. The thrill of making something and putting it out into the world immediately is far more satisfying (and fun!!!).
I did some filming on Tuesday, so you’ve probably seen this outfit 107 times already, and to be fair, it’s a combo that you’ve already seen many times before that as it’s become a bit of a go-to for me: denim shirt + black trousers + sandals + textured bag. It feels relaxed but chic and is an outfit that works just as well for slinking around the house as it does for a day of meetings in London. It’s a bit of a one-stop shop for me.
