MONDAY
If my memory serves me correctly, last Monday was a bit grim. Cold, wet and the kind of day where you just want to hibernate until Fool’s Spring has passed (which might be this week?! Fingers crossed). So I repeated an outfit from last week (and forgot to take a photo, hence the duplicate!). There isn’t anything new to say here that I didn’t say last week except that a good transitional season working from home outfit is: a pair of elasticated waistband trousers + a fluffy oversized knit jumper. Basically a hack for wearing your pyjamas during the day - you’re welcome.
TUESDAY
I was up and out by 7 am on Tuesday, and I stupidly didn’t plan my outfit before, so although I don’t feel like this outfit was my worst of the week (see below for that), I don’t think it was my greatest work either. But it did serve its purpose of being comfortable, yet put together enough for a day of meetings in London. My big bag meant I was able to lug everything that I needed around (I decided to walk from Clapham Junction station to Battersea Power Station, so I made it cross-body for the trek), and I managed a day of 14,000 steps in these flats with only a little bit of soreness on the back of one of my ankles. Win, win. If I were to re-do this outfit again, I think I’d try to find a different top or bag to wear; looking back it felt like too much of a wall of black.
