MONDAY
On Monday, we headed to Kinsbrook Vineyard to shoot this month’s Selfridges campaign (you can see the end result here). It’s such a good spot for a chill lunch in the sun; just go there Wednesday through Sunday when the full restaurant is open. We got there at 2 p.m., and the deli selection was sparse! I think we’ll go back for brunch next time because I’ve heard good things. Anyway, outfit-wise, this one is a winner for days when you need to bundle up when the sun goes behind the clouds: wide-leg light-wash jeans + a cashmere knitted tank or t-shirt of some kind + chunky leather sandals + textured bag + cashmere crew neck jumper (out of shot, but I had it over my shoulders when it got a bit cold).
TUESDAY
I spent most of Tuesday shooting video content, so as I always say, when it’s a shoot day, prepare to be sick of this outfit! I also go to my sewing class on a Tuesday, so whatever I wear is an outfit that does a true 9 am to 9 pm shift for me, and therefore, I always want comfort to be the highest priority on the agenda. Denim on denim might not be the obvious choice, but the trousers are baggy and the shirt is getting softer and softer each time by wear and this inverted denim formula is one that I’m becoming quite fond of. It feels like I can find the right balance in it easily, and it allows me to feel relaxed and polished at the same time. Oh, and I’m always struggling to find dupes of this shirt to share with you, but I found one here* and here*.
